Delivering care
We bring high-quality, client-centred reproductive health services closer to communities through clinics, outreach models and partnerships with government health facilities.
Advancing reproductive choice through quality care, stronger health systems and advocacy.
Foundation for Reproductive Health Services India (FRHS India) is a leading Indian non-governmental organisation working since 2009 to enable women and girls to exercise their reproductive rights and make informed choices about their health and futures.
We work to expand access to high-quality, client-centred reproductive healthcare, particularly for people living in underserved and hard-to-reach communities. Through our clinics, clinical outreach teams and partnerships with government health facilities, we bring essential family planning and safe abortion services closer to the people who need them.
Our work extends beyond service delivery. We partner with governments to strengthen public health systems, generate evidence to improve programmes and policies, and advocate for an enabling environment in which every individual can exercise their reproductive rights with dignity and autonomy.
India’s leading clinical family planning organisation.
By 2030, no abortion will be unsafe and every individual who wants access to contraception will have it.

How we make a difference.
We bring high-quality, client-centred reproductive health services closer to communities through clinics, outreach models and partnerships with government health facilities.
We work alongside governments and healthcare providers to improve service quality, strengthen capacity and build more responsive and sustainable public health systems.
We test new approaches, generate evidence and translate learning from the field into improvements in programmes, policies and practice.
We work with government, civil society and other stakeholders to address policy, regulatory and social barriers to reproductive healthcare and advance reproductive rights.
What drives our work
We are committed to ensuring that people can make informed choices about their reproductive lives. Our mission guides the decisions we make and the impact we seek to create.
Our clients are at the heart of our work. We deliver care that respects individual needs, choices, dignity and experiences.
We take responsibility for our actions, use resources responsibly and hold ourselves to high standards of quality, transparency and impact.
We are willing to challenge barriers, question established practices and take bold action to advance reproductive health and rights.
We adapt, learn and work together to find solutions, particularly in difficult and changing environments.
We value diversity and work to create an environment where people are respected, heard and empowered to contribute.
