The FRHS India team

FRHS India is led by a multidisciplinary team bringing together expertise in public health, clinical services, programme management, operations, finance, advocacy and communications. Our leadership team guides the organisation’s strategy and works alongside our teams and partners to ensure that our programmes remain responsive to the needs of the communities we serve, grounded in evidence and focused on delivering sustainable impact.

Executive Team

Ashutosh Kaushik

Ashutosh Kaushik

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Ashutosh Kaushik has more than two decades of extensive experience both in the corporate and development sectors. He holds an executive MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kolkata and a Post-Graduation in Financial Management. Prior to joining FRHS India, he had worked in leadership roles in Micro Insurance Academy (MIA), Population Services International and the like. During his close to 9 years of long association with the organisation, Mr. Kaushik took up various leadership roles, including a stint at MSI Timor Leste Program in 2018. Mr. Kaushik is also a passionate trekker, and uses his free time to wander off the lofty mountains.

Dr. Abbha Dhuriya

Dr. Abbha Dhuriya

Director (Clinical Services)

Dr. Abbha Dhuriya has more than two decades of experience of working in various public health programs as techno-managerial lead. She has provided her expertise to the SRH, maternal health, immunisation and NCD programs. Her key focus is on marginalised population and adolescents’ SRH needs, and gender inclusion. She holds an MPH degree from Mahatma Gandhi University, a postgraduate from Lady Harding Medical College and an MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College. Prior to joining FRHS India, she had worked as program lead in Plan India and techno-managerial lead in Abt Associates and Jhpiego. She has been associated with various WHO programs in different roles. She started her innings at FRHS India in February 2023. She likes to work for her community and society and provide medical advice to people from low socio-economic groups — she enjoys providing everlasting solutions rather than one-time support, and bringing change to people’s lives.

Head — HR & Admin

M. Srinivasan joined FRHS India on 24 December 2018 as Head (Human Resources) and he is also overseeing the Administration & Procurement Unit from 1 April 2020. MS, as he is known, had a long career spanning four decades in CARE India, where he retired in July 2015. MS is a seasoned HR professional with a good understanding of the not-for-profit sector.

Dinesh Tank has more than a decade of extensive experience both in the corporate and development sectors. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Rajasthan University. During his long association with the organisation, Dinesh took up various leadership roles.

Neha Srivastava

Neha Srivastava

Manager — Program Operations and Communication

Neha Srivastava is a public health and communications professional with over 12 years of experience across sexual and reproductive health and rights, maternal and child health, immunisation, and health systems strengthening. At FRHS India, she leads external communications, partnerships and advocacy, supporting the organisation’s efforts to strengthen its visibility, strategic engagement and influence across the sexual and reproductive health and rights ecosystem. She also leads the Pratigya Campaign Secretariat, supporting coalition strategy and collective advocacy to advance gender equality and access to safe abortion in India.

Prior to joining FRHS India, Neha worked with organisations including Jhpiego and Pathfinder International, leading and supporting strategic communications, knowledge management, programme documentation and fundraising for large-scale public health programmes. Her work focuses on translating evidence, programme learning and field experience into compelling communications, stronger partnerships and effective advocacy. Neha holds an MBA in Marketing from the Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) and an MSc in Biotechnology from Bangalore University.

Saket Sharma

Saket Sharma

Head — Program Operations

Saket Sharma is a seasoned development sector professional with over 17 years of experience in public health, program management, operations, and health systems strengthening. Since joining FRHS India in 2016, he has progressed from Assistant Manager to Head — Program & Operations, reflecting his strong leadership and commitment to organizational growth.

He has extensive experience in designing and managing large-scale public health programs, with expertise in Family Planning, Reproductive and Women’s Health, Safe Abortion Care, Clinical Outreach Services, Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), CSR initiatives, and Government Health Systems. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with government agencies, development partners, donors, and corporate stakeholders to strengthen health systems and improve access to quality healthcare for underserved communities.

Saket is passionate about building sustainable partnerships, leading high-performing teams, and driving innovative solutions that create lasting social impact in the development sector.

Pratik Kumar

Pratik Kumar

President, Prayatna NGO & Founder Director, Sashakt Foundation

Pratik is a seasoned social sector professional with over 35 years of experience across the United Nations, international NGOs, the Indian government, and the private sector. He is currently the President of Prayatna NGO and the Founder Director of Sashakt Foundation. Earlier, he served as the CEO of Magic Bus India Foundation, where he scaled the organisation from a small programme in Mumbai to 23 states, reaching over 400,000 children and youth, and later as the Executive Director of Magic Bus Global.

An electrical engineering graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, Pratik began his career in the corporate sector before joining the Indian Civil Services in 1992. His four-year tenure with the National AIDS Control Programme at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare inspired him to transition fully to the social sector. In 2006, he moved to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Regional Office for South Asia, to lead a project on drugs and HIV. A native of Bihar, Pratik is deeply committed to empowering young people to shape a better future.
